As we prepare for tonight’s LIVE podcast at The Stud Bar, we’re knee deep in drag deliciousness as Tuesday night is the night for all drag queens in the Bay Area to don their most fabulous frocks and dazzle the crowds.
As you may already know, Trannyshack boasts the longest running drag show in San Francisco and every week they feature performances based around a certain theme or performer and tonight’s show was all about the man in the mirror, pop icon and Middle Eastern resident, Michael Jackson.
Has Michael Jackson become a drag icon? Last night at The Stud Bar in San Francisco, most definitively yes.
Whacko Jacko was on everyones eyes and ears as we were all treated to a hour long sampler of the King of Pop’s different musical touchstones, but with a sassy, biting drag sensibility. It was fabulous.

Sal I’m glad you went to see the Winchester House. It’s more of a tourist site than a preserved home, but still worth seeing in my opinion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winchester_house
If you get a chance, drive down Filbert Street. It is 2 blocks down from the crooked part of Lombard. Filbert Street is billed as the steepest street, and when you go over the crest of the street at Hyde & Filbert in a car, you can’t see the street. Only do this if you have good breaks.
The sidewalks on this section are stairs.

Here is a picture of me with a dirty sanchez. Okay, maybe it is just chocolate but still, this is was a dirty sanchez looks like. It is really gross.
Wish I could have been at the show tonight but once again being 19 and out of SF seems to be my downfall. I will see you guys this weekend at Disneyland. Until then.
