Happy Halloween! What’s scariest thing happening right now? For many, it’s the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election.
Intense national events like the election can push some people who are already on the verge of sanity over the edge! Families, friends and co-workers don’t always see eye to eye as we try to figure out where we fit in this big crazy world and that can cause a lot of stress and election fatigue.
To combat this effect, America’s Gay Funnyman, Jim Bennet from GayCo,- is here to alleviate the stress of the upcoming election by giving us hope and confidence for the future.
Hot news- Broadway in Chicago will host the world premiere of the Addams Family, a new musical based on the bizarre and beloved cartoons of the legendary Charles Adams.
The musical is based on the cartoons and not the movies or TV show so we are wondering if we’ll hear the famous some of the famous TV theme song and its delightful finger snaps.
A German public bathroom was reinvented into an art gallery, with the toilets intact-it’s a splash hit! Of course, the art exhibited is mainly graffiti often with a political theme, but I’m sure there is a “meet me at 2PM on Friday for a BJ” or “call me for a good time” somewhere on the walls.
A Japanese aquarium is putting its obese dolphins on a diet and exercise plan, and another zoo is considering giving its formerly obese monkeys tummy tucks.
Poor John McCain just can’t get anyone to see him speak, not even Joe the Plumber. The Republican party had to bus around 4000 school children just to fill the house and Joe the plumber was a no show!

Hey guys, Jack and I are going to the Obama Rally; hope you can get in! You should make sure that you guys are actually teaching that class at Columbia. The Tribune was saying that Columbia was canceling classes after 3pm that day. Just skip the class and you should show up at the rally as mascots in the panda costumes. Gosh what a great show. When you were talking about the German Toilet converted into an art gallery I was reminded of that fabulous german movie from the late 70′s called “Taxi Zum Klo” about the life of Frank Ripohl (probably peeled wrong. If you haven’t seen it you should. In Ohio they used to show it to demonstrate gay sexuality. It was always amusing to be on the Q&A panel after it. Those who’ve seen it will understand how funny that is. I’m thinking I might watch it tonight after the Hallowee festivities are over.

I read in a magazine about the art gallery in the public bathroom in Munich as well. The artist said due to the success he is thinking to turn other public bathrooms into an art gallery in bigger cities too. Some of them are still in use.
