Stewart made the decision to change careers after attending a GLAAD national board meeting in Los Angeles in early June regarding the looming threat to same-sex marriage.

People, please do what you can. Find the closest polling place to your house and become involved- show them your face, make yourself a person in their eyes and you may convince them you deserve equality. You must be seen to be heard.

I did vote No on 8, and got my 2 straight family members to vote No on 8 too.
However, Marc and Fausto you annoyed many of your listeners/visitors by having the Yes on 8 ads on your discussion forums.
I know you probably kept them because you want us to be reminded by their efforts to remove equal rights, but for those who live in California we are stuck seeing them. It is good that you are helping the community in not being complacent about what is going on. But Why
