  1. Mark Wilson says:

I agree Fausto, No.1 Ladies Detective Agency is brilliant and anyone who joins Audible can get all the books read by Adjoa Andoh (she played Martha Jones’ mother in Dr Who).

  2. Marc Felion says:

Thanks for the tip Mark. I’m in love with the show but I’ve never read the books.

  3. Drew says:

If she wants to stop being called a drag QUEEN, stop acting like one. Great interview though. I like Bebe and Jade, but not being called a drag queen? Come on.

  4. RicoPablo says:

I very much enjoyed these two charming, passionate guests. Another one of my favorites from the TV show was Nina Flowers. Any chance of a visit from her?

  5. Marc Felion says:

I contacted Nina through myspace bit never got a response. She’s probably overwhelmed by email.

    Koko! Dumela Rras!

No1 Ladies’ Detective Agency is sublime. It’s hard to imagine it’s created by a white, straight, middle aged Scotsman from Edinburgh. The books are well worth reading and differ slightly in story from the TV series. Jill Scott is a fantastic singer too and can be found on iTunes.

We have yet to get RuPaul’s TV show in the UK, but let’s hope it pops up somewhere in the schedules.
