After disappearing for seven days, Republican South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford admitted to secretly flying to Argentina to meet a woman with whom he was having an affair.
Wiping away the tears, the Governor apologized to his family and gave up his dream to be the Republican candidate for President of the United States.
Sanford and sex! The governor who fought against marriage equality and voted to impeach President Bill Clinton because he felt the need for moral legitimacy now says that his illicit sex was really hot and he regrets not doing it sooner. We’re just kidding about the last part.
