I met John Ashcroft at the airport in Tampa a few years ago while I was on a business trip. I walked up to him and said, “Has anyone ever told you that you bear a striking resemblance to John Ashcroft?” He extended his hand and told me that he was John Ashcroft. We spoke for a few minutes. Just before the doors opened on the train, I asked him to sing a little bit of “Let The Eagle Soar”. He laughed. He had a pretty good sense of humor – even though I don’t agree with his politics, he made me laugh.
And then you started making out with him, and discovered he’s a sensitive, tender lover.
@Michael: Congrats on making things official on Facebook! Mazel tov.
Thanks Rhea – It feels good to be “out of the closet”
