The memorable affectations delivered by these wonderful gay men in cartoons, sitcoms and game shows have amused audiences for years. You may not have even known they were gay, but it sure sounded like they were. Even now, actors, podcasters and video bloggers continue this great tradition, but as openly gay men.
Today we’re talking to video blogger Jonnie Jenkins who just started posting his videos on YouTube as the Phat Gay Kid a little over a month ago. His over the top clucks and giggles have quickly endeared him to a huge audience. Don’t dismiss him as just another lonelygirl15 starving for attention- Jonnie’s received a lot of praise from radio stations, bloggers, and even musician Ke$ha and comedian George Lopez.
We bet dollars to donuts that he’ll be on the Out 100 list thisyear.

I completely agree with what Jonnie said, and what Mark has said in the past. Those who say that people like Jonnie, or anyone for that matter, are harming the gay ’cause’, need to think carefully about what they are saying. Where is the line drawn? Either people are free to be who they are, or they’re not. I thought that’s what we were fighting for. If some one can say you are not ok because of the way you present yourself, or the way you talk, then we have gotten nowhere.

Loved listening to Jonnie, he can be as phat and as gay as he wants to be and I’m glad he is!!!!
