He was so taken by her latina ways that he offered her a fabulous job as his protege.

Thank you so much for this interview! La Coacha es fantástica! I love her Lady Gagalupe “Alejandro” parody! OMG! ROFL!
Hi guys,
Sorry to disagree on this one, for me yhis was a big turn-off.
La Coacha exploits every stereotype of latin people in America. Rather than expresing an hyperbolic version of her latin or mexican identity, she becomes a tired caricature of what Americans think of latin people. She has no nationality, but is more a generic latin.
Carmen Miranda aka Chiquita Banana is to Brasil, as La Coacha is to Mexico. I can’t help to think that whats she is doing is hurtful to the perception of the latin comunity in North America, contributing to its detriment.
I feel that her only talent is having no shame. (At the end I’m adding some links of other people that play with stereotypes of latin people, but that I think they actually have talent).
This is the kind of charachter that as a mexican person I like to get dettached from. Living in Montreal, I’m proud to be an ambasador to my on country, in the sense that I can give depth to the perception that people in other countries have of latin people. I think charachter like this one, erase any sense of depth of mexican or latin culture.
I think there’s so many ways to make people laugh. I wish she brough some authenticity to her charachter. It’s easy to just repeat stereotypes and be the next Chiquita Banana or Cheech Marin (that at least at their time they were more original).
Again sorry to be such a party pooper and a b**ch… you know I love your show… just not this one. And any way this is only one opinion and my opinion. I tried to be as constructive as possible.

I love this episode. Thank you for introducing my boyfriend and I to La Coacha!! I am now following her on you tube. Great episode she is hilarious
Such an annoying stereotype. I have “perro” in her nasty voice running through my head. She just talks and talks and doesn’t listen, so full of herself.
