Attention! Peaches Christ is in town, and no one is safe.
Everybody’s favorite drag queen horror movie fanatic, Peaches Christ, is rolling across the country screening her directorial film debut “All About Evil,” a black comedy about a mousy librarian who discovers her inner serial killer to save the family business- a failing movie house.
The film stars Thomas Dekker, Natasha Lyonne, Mink Stole and Elvira out of drag, Cassandra Peterson.
This Saturday marks the Chicago premiere of the film with fabulous pre-show entertainment at the Music Box Theater, and today we have Peaches in the home studio talking about making of the movie and how she managed to direct some of the biggest names in cult film.
Listen as Joshua Grannell, the man underneath all the Peaches Christ makeup, shares with us the skanky origin of the lead character’s name- “Deborah Tennis.”
Plus, hear to how his friend and mentor director John Waters reacted to the film. After all, there’s a little bit of “Serial Mom” and “Female Trouble” in “All About Evil.”
Join us for the a pre and after party at Berlin nightclub and the Chicago premier of “All About Evil” on Saturday, August 14, 2010.
