The gay passion play Corpus Christi, by Tony Award Winning playwright Terrence McNally, is one of the most controversial tellings of the “Greatest Story Ever Told.”

What you may not know is that my mom Patricia Riddick-Fernós was close friends with Terrence in high school and even went on a dates with him. The character of Patricia Rudd in Corpus Christi is based on her.

your Mom is such a nice lady!! I feel privileged to have seen her a few times in Austin and meeting her a couple times, when you guys came to Oilcan Harry’s during SXSW she came and talked to me. She is a delight!
Love Patricia, love that Fausto can identify the exact make and model of Katy Perry’s wig, but have not had much love for Katy Perry since I read her attempt to rationalize the song “Ur So Gay”, by essentially saying that, because a particular ex-boyfriend was vain and shallow, he ‘should have been gay’. Totally not bothering with that Sesame Street clip–I’m waiting for Gaga’s appearance!
Fausto’s mother is just sooooo wonderful! I’d love to hear from Victoria again (and her really cool Mum!)- it would be great to hear how she’s going. She was always so vibrant on the show. I love her answer to the question, ‘if you your vagina wrote it’s own monologue, what would it say?’, she dutifully answered ‘shut’.
