You may not know it, but Christmas, like a lot of holidays, traces its origins back to ancient Pagan celebrations.
The Babylonians with their Feast of the Son of Isis and the Romans with their Winter Solstice all celebrated the lengthening of the days with parties, dinners and gift giving events.
Yule logs, mistletoe, wreaths and even Santa Claus all date back years before the Romans declared Christianity their official religion. Lutherans in the 1500s even considered Christmas trees a blasphemy!
So do Christians now owe pagans back royalties for copyright infringement?
We’re bringing some nutty holiday cheer on today’s show with our very own ginger witch Shivian Balaris- he’s here to cast a sexy spell for good fortune, and to get even with our enemies.
Comedian Chris Condren also joins us to play some insane songs about time travel and finding that perfect kind of love.
In the news:
Hugh Grant accidentally bought a Warhol painting of Liz Taylor that made him 22 million dollars.
Christian fundamentalists blame Gay Days at Disney for the lackluster attendance of the animated movie The Princess and the Frog.
And somebody’s grandma walks out of church, disgusted by the pastor’s hate speech this holiday season.
We are also excited to announce the development of the Feast of Fun iPhone app! Like many news and podcasting apps, the Feast of Fun app will allow people to quickly access all the fabulous shows and content on FOF with their iPhone. You’ll be able to interact with the site by submitting you own content, like comments or blog entries, directly from an iPhones.

Now that I figured out this is a re-cast, how did the curse on the phone thief go?
I remember this episode. I laughed so hard.
