Spending the winter in the coldest darkest parts of Russia can be extremely difficult. Especially when you’re a closeted gay Mormon missionary.
Today we’re joined by our friend J Seth Anderson, who grew up Mormon, became a missionary and spent two years living in the remote Samar region on the Volga river.
Listen as J Seth tells us the tales of what it was like to be gay and working in the hostile remote parts of Russia trying to come to terms with his own sexuality while at the same time trying to convert Russians to Mormonism.

Oh yeah, that was rich, when Brit Hume said Tiger needed to drop Buddhism and take up Christianity to repent for infidelity. While Gandhi may or may have not been a secret virgin-loving poon-hound, Jesus sure as hell couldn’t stop guys like Swaggart and Bakker from chasing tail!
Really, adults can sleep with however many people they want, just don’t lie about it, or hurt people, or take a dozen child-brides, or excommunicate unwanted boys, or, y’know, be FLDS in general. I have regular LDS cousins and they’re pretty cool for all their squeaky-cleanness, but I admit I don’t ask how they vote.
