Seth and Kellen, but not in that order. The tall blond guy is Seth.

Some people just don’t know how to take a joke- maybe they’ve had a rough life or their current situation is bad, but not being able to find the funny side of life can actually make things worse.

Lady Gaga just turned 25. Rumors are that she spent the last 3 days inside her cake to prepare and think about the meaning of the song Happy Birthday.

Sometimes laughter really can be the best medicine. We use humor to demystify life’s tragedies and start the healing process.

Today we’re joined by Chicago comedians Seth Dodson and Kellen Alexander to explore why we laugh at inappropriate things and why we find it so hard to laugh at ourselves, especially about our sex lives.

They’ve collaborated on many projects together including a drag queen sitcom “Glitter in the Gutter,” an improv group 1, 2, 3, Fag! and a queer showcase called Qweirdo, that they were originally going to call Gay Bash but then they changed their mind.

They have a new show titled “Seriously? Seriously.” at the Annoyance that runs Thursdays, April 7 – May 12.

Mark: I really like the idea of raising money for an MRI for Victoria Jackson. Or even better, raising money for the MRI and donating it to The Trevor Project in Victoria Jackson’s name.

Adam Lambert gets banned from ABC for kissing an allegedly straight keyboardist. harumph! Kirstie Alley just laid a fat smooch on DWTS to Maksim Chmerkovskiy – where’s the ban?!?!

Fausto, totally agree with your thoughts on Tyler Perry movies and the movie theater experience as well. The only reason I see movies in theaters is if a) I won’t be able to see it on DVD b) will have a unique experience brought by the theatrical environment or c) the audience. That’s why I frequent Midnight Movies so much, it is truly an experience. And I agree, why don’t people want that? Cinematic revolution anyone?
