Whip out your tar-tar sauce! A fishy feud is steaming up between Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Shortly after Gaga teased fans with her new mermaid alter ego Yuyi, Katy Perry posted a photo of herself planking as a mermaid saying “this is how Ariel would do it.”
It’s not the first time the two pop stars have clashed and we are sure it won’t be the last, but who wins this fishy round?

Difficult to say what song is the summerhit of 2011. My is Mr. Saxobeat by Alexandra Stan, a Romanian singer. The song was number 1 in the charts of different European countries for some time. Another song which I don’t really like but is a potential summer hit is Welcome to St. Tropez by Dj Antoine vs Timati feat. Kalenna

The worst summer song I think is “Loca people” by Sak Noel although it is funny when you are drunk.

Talking about Hitler and the Nazis, recently a youth hostel opened in East Germany at the Baltic Sea in a former giant Nazi Resort that stretches for 4.5 kilometers (2.8 miles) along the coast of the island of Rügen. It was built to offer budget holidays for German families, part of Adolf Hitler’s strategy to create a healthy nation fit for war. But the project was never finished when the war started. Now the hostel occupies only a small fraction of it.

I need people to shut up about planking. And I say that as someone who likes Katy Perry. For anyone from the Hut de Gaga to accuse anyone of taking ideas is the real joke though.
My summer anthem: All of Beyonce’s new album. Specifically “Start Over” and “End of Time.” But I think Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass” has kind of become the song of summer for 2011. Or Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep.” You can’t go anywhere without hearing that one. (Not a complaint.)
And Marc: “Ike only beat Tina, Joe beat a whole family,” resulted in an office disturbing cackle. Great line.
I think it was this episode that you guys were wondering what Gaga would do her next video with the mermaid on, and I think Fausto said that it would be the Edge of Glory. Well, reminder, she’s already got a video for that one! I have no idea as to what she’ll use her new mermaid alter-ego for though..
It’s coming any day now!
Since you like disco music, there is a CD called “Pop Shopping” with music from German Commercials from the late 1960s and 1970s.

This song called “Rumore” by Raffaela Carra is also worth a watch.
