When Paula Poundstone was arrested in 2001 for drunk driving and child endangerment, she temporarily lost custody of her adopted children, went into a deep depression and was forced by the courts to go to AA.

Not one to hide, Paula took her struggles that she endured under the glare of the media and put it to work in her courageous stand-up act.

   Heys Guys!!

   I’m a Brazilian fan of the show. I listen to the podcasts whenever I can and have a blast everytime. It’s really sad that the show is going through money problems, but I wish everything turns out OK. Hope some filthy rich listener comes forward and donates a good sum of money. You guys are too good to be gone!
   I’ll keep my fingers crossed here in Brazil.
