Today we salute one of the greatest inventors, tycoons and people of the 20th and 21st century, Steve Jobs. The man who had us say hello to the iPhone, iPad, iPod, iMac and iTunes died from complications from a rare form of pancreatic cancer, he was 56.
The future arrived thanks in great part to Steve Jobs.

So this is what it´s like huh?, I imagined it differently I wanted to hear this podcat really badly but hey whatcha going to do, It was really fun listening to this podcast and its going to be hard to find another one like this, I hope it goes well for you guys. And maybe one day I will start making money and get plus but for now guys I can only remember the awesome moments, All I wanted to say is thanks and farewell for now
.
If I recall they’re still putting out one free podcast a week? It doesn’t have to be goodbye yet!
I am in the same situation. It is kinda sad not being able to listen to them anymore on a daily basis. Right now plus is not an affordable option for me and the scholarship program requires time input that not so much available for me as a student.
Anyway, love the new look of the show and hope things goes well for them.
While waiting for the show each week, guess i just have to find some other alternatives for my daily ride to school
ahhhhh D: if I had money right now I would subscribe to FOF Plus+ but I am totally broke and unemployed at the moment so I really gotta watch what I spend my money on…I mean I guess I could afford it but aaughh I dunno…money is pretty tight…
Congratulations and good luck on the new endeavor, Marc and Fausto! I know it is a painful transition for some, but I’m hoping that you are able to award enough scholarships to deserving people who can’t afford a membership right now.
To those who are upset about the new subscription model: Just remember that we need these guys to stick around, and they can’t do it for free anymore. Feast of Fun has been my anchor to the gay world since its early years, and I hope it will be for years and years to come. I hope you’ll get a membership today and show your support for the show. If you can afford it, get a membership that allows for others to receive scholarships to listen. If you can’t afford a membership, send Marc an email and request a scholarship. With patience and time, I know they will make it right.
Keep up the awesome work, guys! It’s time for us to give back to you, as you have given so much to us.
We do this because of the support we’ve received from the audience of the show. So thank you!
It feels really good knowing that we’re working hard and if the audiences stays with us, we’ll have not just stability, but the ability to grow into something even more amazing.
We have big ideas and want the audience to join us for the ride. Let’s change the world together.
We have the most amazing audience, and I’m honored to create this show 5 days a week for you guys.
I think it’s fair to say that the people involved, the guests and audience that make up Feast of Fun to me represent the best aspects of the LGBT world. They are the inspiration that keeps me not just going, but inspire me to be my very best.
You guys are inclusive, witty, funny people who really get the idea that we need to reach out to other communities to bring about the change we want to see.
You get that we need to be asset driven, focus on what works to bring more of that out into the world.
You get that to fight bullies means to fight for better schools.
You get that depression is misplaced anger. By expressing our thoughts and feelings, we can begin to chase the blues away.
You get that we need everyone on board to make things happen.
You give pity and love to the haters. You bring joy and celebration to the lovers.
You understand that snobs, jerks, and phonies are just people who feel bad about themselves and try to make the pain seem not as bad by looking down on others.
You are the misfits, the rebels, the trouble-makers, the round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status-quo. You are the crazy, loveable ones.
You are queer in the most fabulous sense.
You are why we do what we do. Thank you.
Damn It! I need my FOF fix! What can I get $20? Can I get a $20 FOF sack?
Can I use my EBT?
ROFL!!
Comment of the day.
Just joined FOF Plus+ … you guys are amazing and I know you won’t let me down!… Keep up the great work… Saludos desde Costa Rica
Hey, what happened to this episode? I think my iTunes downloaded it, but since it was a new podcast, it used my general settings and deleted it from my list as soon as the new episode came (cuz my rule for old FoF is “delete only after I listened to it, hehe ;D). So I fixed the setting but when I tried to find the episode it wasn’t online on iTunes or here. Ahhh! I love Apple and Steve Jobs, I need this episode!!! Bring it back pleeeease!!
Fausto said it best. “there’s no Gay / Lesbian Interest ‘ on iTunes. Nada. Fausto was getting tired of pigeon holed on ‘Comedy’ or ‘Lifestyle’ podcast.
So who kept that rule in place? Senor JOBS. Sorry kids but Fausto has a point. Anything GLBT is whitewashed on iTunes.
thanks Fausto for pointing this out!
