The gay Mexican hulk of comedy, Bill Cruz, joins us to take a look at the new Avengers movie, the gay overtones in Captain America and why some folks might be left with a bad taste in their mouth after seeing this otherwise awesome film.
Fausto Fernós is the host of iTunes’ #1 LGBT talk show, the Feast of Fun podcast, which he produces and hosts with his partner, Marc Felion.
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Fausto Fernós created the Feast of Fools in 1998 as wacky artists variety show in Chicago, Illinois. Feast of Fun grew out of an audio blog to promote the live show into the world’s most downloaded talk show aimed for gay people.
When he’s not blogging, recording or sleeping, Fausto can be found at the gym or appreciating the beauty found in nature.

there are two places i have been that I don’t recommend by telling people to go but by telling them they must experience it. e.g. you have to go to Paris, you have to go to Sydney, but you MUST experience Africa AND Burning Man. cliche, but i have to say it, life altering experiences.
Burning Man happens every year ending on Labor Day. I suppose the first time one goes for the drugs and sex. That is DEFINITELY not the reason why anyone goes back. Last time i was there I never saw the sun come up and i was asleep two nights by 10pm (unlike the first time i went, i saw the sun come up every day). While you are correct there is no running water, everyone in my camp takes at least one shower a day (very easy, camping shower). i have never felt dirty there…the “sand” is technically dust which makes your skin and hair super super soft. the weather is definitely an issue, way too hot during the day and way too cold at night. somehow i don’t remember the weather but the people i met, the art i saw and my funnies (i met a girl from Belgium, kissed her and liked it! by the end of the week people i didn’t know started singing that song when they saw me).
the first time i went, the portapotties were cleaned once a day at best. last time i went they were cleaned all day long (even at 2 in the morning outside of the nightclubs). bathrooms, cleanliness and water are non-issues (well, the water is up to you, but we always come back with extra water).
Before i went i would roll my eyes every time someone brought up burning man. I wanted to stop doing that. The only way was to see it for myself. I stopped rolling my eyes, but very aware that i am now inducing the eye rolling. the irony is not lost on me.
the spirit of burning man had a lasting impact. Leave no trace is a core value…i love pointing out to my leftists friends that this right wing republican is more environmentally conscience than they are.
you guys would fit right in and after your jaws return to where they belong on the second or third day you will really have fun. there is nothing like the esplanade at night. pictures don’t do it justice.

2. Fausto… now what makes you think that particular character is really dead? I mean, if they faked the cards (you have to see it…won’t spoil it for others) and the medics got their really quickly and they called him dead over the radio…. remember, the Avengers needed a push. So I think he might actually still be alive. I might also be quite wrong. We will see in Avengers 2.
