Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Fausto Fernós created the Feast of Fools in 1998 as wacky artists variety show in Chicago, Illinois. Feast of Fun grew out of an audio blog to promote the live show into the world’s most downloaded talk show aimed for gay people.

Great idea! Getting to work on that right now. The artwork is a re-creation based on an anonymous artist, I put him against a new field and made the rainbows prettier. So part of the art was remade for our dimensions by me.

I was reading through those tweets about North Carolina double-banning same sex marriage, and while it’s awful, NC is the 30th? or 31rst state to ban gay marriage? Texas banned gay marriage in 2005, so I guess since I live in a state where same sex marriage has been banned for 7 years now, it does not shock me as much.
I think Obama coming out in support of same-sex marriage is both a political move and a heartfelt one, but like I said in another post, I won’t be surprised if he slightly alters that viewpoint further into the campaign.
also, that scandal with John Travolta sounded like a scene from a gay porno, although in this situation it is not as sexy since it was not consensual on the masseur’s part. Whether it is true or not, I am sure there will be a gay porno out soon parodying this with some John Travolta look a like and a twinky masseur or something.
As a North Carolinian, I really wanted to argue with all the insults thrown at my state… sadly, I can’t. It was spot on. Fuck this place. :-\

I feel I need to clairfy my comment that the guys mentioned on the show today – “There’s one against.” It was in response to someone on Fausto’s Facebook page going off on a (lengthy) tangent against Obama’s announcement. I’m very much FOR the announcement and everything it represents.

Great show! I am cynical about Obama’s announcement. I don’t know what took him so long. I found Lady Bunny’s blogpost on HuffPo to be very insightful.
