Today we chat with the very funny Brian Sweeney about Mao Sugiyama, the Japanese gender neutral artist who cooked his own surgically removed cock and balls to a group of paying customers while a crowd watched on.

  1. I don’t really know what to say about Sugiyama cooking his genitals. I guess if you get your cock and balls removed and get to keep them I guess you can do whatever you want with them. You’d have to pay me at least $1000 or more to eat any cooked genitals though. They’d have to be cooked in some pretty heavy duty flavorful sauce too so you wouldn’t taste the natural flavor of the genital…tissue as much…

As for not allowing bridal parties into gay bars, yeah technically it’s discrimination, but nothing is more obnoxious than a bunch of drunk women, who usually treat the wait staff like shit, and act all high and mighty n’ shit. I have never seen this with a group of women in a bar since I never go out to bars, but you see it a lot in restaurants. If it were a private party, where they were in a separate room or something, I think that would be acceptable. Yet when they are mixed in with the rest of the customers, being all loud, rude and obnoxious, I would not feel comfortable being in the same company as them.

Also, if these bridal parties got to the point of being so disruptive that customers started to leave the bar, then I think that would give good reason for them to be banned…

  2. Another entertaining gem. My only grip is when you played the rehearsal clip of Madonna. Madonna was singing “She’s Not Me” after Express Yourself/Born This Way Medley because it is the title of one of her songs and was written way before Born This Way came out. Even though Madonna seems like a total bitch in person (still love her music just not her as a person) I am sure it’s all tongue in cheek. I think we look for drama in situations where we should just take the action at face value. Consider the source and move on.

Brian, there is an ice-cream they sell here at supermarkets that is gluten, cholesterol and dairy free and it is d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!! Believe in those girls posting pics on Instagram, they may be speaking the truth when they post pictures of their delicious gluten free deserts :)

  4. cassiofm says:

Fausto, Mark was right, Madonna said that the song was “reductive” :D

  5. cassiofm says:

Great show guys, just finihed listening to it. Brian is always fun. Fausto this is one of your best pics, you look, uhmm, delicious! :D I think the beard looks very good too!

  6. I love ALL of your shows, but have to say the Brian Sweeney shows are quickly becoming my favorites. It is so unusual in any media to see such a comfort and comradery between gay and straight men. Once again, FOF is ahead of the times by illustrating what a TRUE gay-straight alliance looks like beyond labels and false separations.

I see both sides in the bridal argument. Ultimately, I have to side with Brian. Discrimination is discrimination. As much as I despise the disrespect of bridal parties, it gives validity to any business that chooses to discriminate against “those loud gays” or “rude lesbians.” Once you start to open that door it’s hard to say where it will shut.
