A Halloween miracle has happened- George Lucas came to his senses and sold the Star Wars franchise to Disney for a cool $4.5 billion.
That’s a lot of lightsabers.
The entertainment company then announced they are planning a new Star Wars trilogy coming out in 2015, this time NOT directed by George Lucas.
It seems like Disney is buying up everything! They own the Muppets, Pixar, Marvel Comics and now Star Wars. Sadly, the Golden Girls franchise is still up for grabs.
