Jackie Beat is in trouble. After years of stomping around in heels doing her hilarious one woman show, Jackie Beat’s pelvis has more fractures in it than her corset.

These hips don’t lie- Jackie Beat urgently requires double hip replacement surgery, and she needs your help (donate here).

Don’t worry Jackie! We have the technology. We can rebuild her into the world’s first bionic drag queen. Stronger than she was before- funnier, dirtier, crazier.

Today Miss Beat fills us in on her frightening medical problems, her relationships with Sherry Vine, Joan Rivers, Nadya Ginsburg, Selene Luna and her friendship with Alexis Arquette featured in the documentary Wigstock.

Good thing it wasn’t a statue of David.

This was a great podcast! I am glad you touched on the difference in age/maturity amongst gay men. Being 38 and in a monogamous relationship for 9 years, I sometimes wonder (shut up, I’m gay and a man) what it would be like do date a hot 22 year-old. It all comes to a sobering halt when I realize those twinks have no money, haven’t read a book since high school, and think Stonewall is a decorative border in their mother’s back yard. Now, I am off to pull up the couch cushions to see what I can scrounge up for Jackie Beat.
