One of the biggest shortcomings of the world’s largest religions is the way they deal with sexuality. Although they condemn most sex acts, in reality it’s mostly a don’t ask, don’t tell mentality.

Joining us today is the fabulous actor and comic Fawzia Mirza, to talk about why religious leaders are suddenly saying progressive things about LGBT folks.

  1. Currently listening to this podcast in Marrakech, Morocco! Interesting to hear you guys talking about Ramadan as I’ve been thinking about it a lot since being on holiday here. It makes me have so much respect for Muslims here, fasting in the 42 degree C heat! It’s wonderful to see people breaking fast, there’s a real community feel with everyone sharing food and families rushing home from their jobs to eat with family. Fausto and Marc, you should totally try it! I’m not partaking in the fast – it’s enough getting used to the heat (I’m British!)
Love your podcasts so much, detected a slight sadness recently from you both, hope your show survives and you can still afford to make them. I’ve only been a subscriber since June and would be sad to not listen to you both every few days. I’m straight identifying and live in London, so some of the content is a bit unfamiliar. For me, the magic lies in your comedy, chemistry and realness. Plus Fausto’s latest accents! Also, particularly love Brian and Meredith too! (Hi!). Not usually one for fangirling, but wanted to show you some love and hope to listen to many more podcasts. Besos!
