The genre of Women in Prison films began as a way for filmmakers to subvert censors in order to feature women in highly erotic sadistic and bondage situations.

Today Peaches Christ takes us behind bars into her favorite Women in Prison films, and shares with us all the juicy gossip about the actors who make up Orange is the New Black.

  1. I always love listening to the subtle reads when Peaches is on the show.
It was interesting to hear the history of women in prison. I haven’t seen many films or shows about women in prison, but I do remember watching a reality show with women in prison on msnbc. I remember thinking the term “bull diggin'” was hilarious.

Mimi can’t seem to get a break. Xelle’s rejection is God’s protection.

  2. Brian Sweeney says:

    I LOVE PEACHES CHRIST

This might just be the BEST Peaches episode. Loved it!!

  4. Peaches never disappoints!

you guys touched on a subject that I’ve been thinking about recently. You mentioned that it was a bit weird for me to invite you to stay at my place even though we don’t really know each other. I think the opposite is true. I feel like i know you guys very well, you don’t really know me. It must be interesting to in a way have two personas, the persona your true close intimate friends know and the persona that your loyal listeners and social media know. I’ve been wondering how similar those two personas are.

Another example is the slate political gabfest. I feel like i know them very well, but it isn’t really a friendship, but its more than just being a fan. I’ve corresponded with Emily Bazalon several times. I realize we’re not friends, but i can’t think of a word that decribes someone you know pretty well (albeit a public persona) but aren’t really friends.

i don’t know who said it, but after 1 hour 5 days a week for almost 10 years, i definitely know you and fortunate to have crossed line from fan to friend.

enough about you guys, back to Peaches… LOVE LOVE LOVE everything she said about Orange!! can’t wait for the live shows coming up (start the kickstarter).
