One of the the most talked about and parodied costumes any pop star has ever sported is the meat dress worn by Lady Gaga at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. Time Magazine named it the top fashion statement of the year.

Today we’re serving up butcher shop realness, talking to Franc Fernandez, the remarkable man behind the amazing and delicious meat dress.

Great interview, boys. As for the Sound of Music broadcast: it had some problems. The biggest one was that Ms. Underwood just can’t act; great pipes but no acting chops. But what I understand someone involved in the making would only do it if she starred in it. Audra has a beautiful voice but she acted too “modern”. Stephen Moyer was a decent singer but just didn’t come off as believable when he falls in love with Maria. As for live mistakes did you see when the actor stepped on Laura Banati’s [The Baroness] dress? I had to rewind the DVR and watch that several times. But all in all it is an instant cult classic event. (Did you see the SNL skit about it? Sadly, it didn’t make fun of the acting but Kate McKinnon was fabulous as usual). I am happy NBC is trying it again. Maybe they will get the next show right; or we will have another “so bad it’s good” viewing event.
