There was so much fierce talent on that show and we were delighted to talk to RuPaul, Ongina, Bebe and Chicago’s very own Jade. Jade kicked some serious booty on the show, so you can imagine our disappointment when she was eliminated in a round with the bitchy Rebecca Glasscock. You were robbed!
One of my favorite video’s we’ve shot recently was when Jade gave me my very own drag queen eye make-up makeover. I was a hot mess.
To be honest, for us, the best part of tonight’s shows was the reunion special that ran after the series finale, gathering all the former contestants together to discuss their experience. It was really refreshing to hear the honest dialogue between the contestants and the judges.
We were happy to see Jade bury the hatchet with Rebecka Glasscock. But will it last?
The highlight really was the girls laying into judge Santino Rice about his negative comments. The girls claimed he offered only negative criticism and wasn’t very constructive. We agree with the girls in that when you criticize you should aim at educating not just tearing someone down. You can only hear “I don’t see any vulnerability” so many times before you realize this guy has nothing important to say.
Take a page from the great Simon Cowell of American Idol, as funny and bitchy as he may be, he’s gives an honest, well thought out criticism, no just some vague notion of what he’s feeling.
Where is the Paula Abdul in this show? Can we give RuPaul some painkillers or something!?
Here’s to World of Wonder for once again bringing us some fabulous TV and bringing hot new talent to the forefront.

never watched Rupaul’s drag race but congrats to Bebe Zahara Benet for winning. It seemed like all the various blogs that I read who covered it were rooting for her the most.
Wow, the reunion special had it all going. Tammy had a great one liner, and Santino’s criticism sparked an almost philosophical response from Rupaul about the nature of haters and how to use that to become a better person. I didn’t expect that. Going to look forward to Season 2.
Ru’s reaction reminded me of one of those movies where a bad ass principal takes over a rough high school and teaches the students how to be true to themselves.
And what was Tammie’s line “I don’t see you walking children through nature.” WTF does that mean?
Ugh, I hadn’t watched the show yet and I came to download today’s episode and I got spoiled. Should have known better.
I also didn’t get Tammy’s line about the “walking kids through nature”, although it came off as quirky. The other line she said was “if you look under my skirt something will poke you in the eye” or something like that. This show was too funny.
I want to see Bebe have her own show. Bebe`s boot camp. Like she mentioned in the podcast. Watch Bebe trasnform 12 straight men into drag artists. Marc can pretend to be straight.
I’s like to be the guy that drugs the straight guys at sports bars and then they will wake up in Bebe’s lair: Trannydome- two men enter, one man leaves.
