Growl! His name is Ben Lerman and he plays the ukulele. Today Ben’s here to talk about how he accidentally became a Bear sex symbol after hawking his one man show during Bear Week in the gay resort town of Provincetown, Massachusetts.

Ben performs this Wednesday July, 22 in Chicago. UPDATE: I just got an Facebook update that Ben is giving away “two for one” tickets if you buy online or say the code word “Facebook” at the door. The New York based comedian just got back from a stint in Mexico and he’s here today
in the home studio to play four brand new songs, including some he wrote for the ladies.

One song is about the glories of multiple orgasms, how to achieve them and how to make them last.

Another is a tribute to a female friend who gives it to him straight and hard, but is Ben receptive to her advice?

Musician Kanye West gets roasted by the latest episode of South Park – his response? He says the episode hurt his feelings but is helping him keep his ego in check. In his blog he wrote: “I just want to be a doper person which starts with me, not always telling people how dope I think I am.” Good advice.

Everybody’s flocking to a Zoo in Poland to see their newest star- a gay elephant named Nino. Despite being very affectionate with the males of his species, the ten year old African Bush Elephant has been moved from three zoos because of his quarrelsome behavior with the females. Poor guy, he’s even caught in the middle of a political struggle as a representative from the local right-wing party calls the zoo’s purchase “outrageous.”

Julian Wolkenstein’ fierce pictures of horses wearing hair extensions are becoming all the rage.

Sydney-born Mr Wolkenstein teamed up with hair-stylist Acacio da Silva to whip the horses into shape, reports the Daily Telegraph.

“Each horse took around four hours to groom, with hair extensions being added by Acacio, and then when they were presented in front of the camera’s and lights they would shake their heads, give a neigh and then ruffle up their hair,” he said.

Sometimes when you overbook your guests, you get a whole new exciting taste combination of fun and pleasure. On today’s show we have a superfan Jonas Åstrøm, musical guest Ben Lerman who’s star is quickly rising on the internet with his spontaneous duet with Britney Houston.

Fausto has been freaking out the people at Dunkin’ Donuts & Baskin Robin’s when he asks for a French cruller in a cup with soft serve ice cream on top.

You should order one and gage their reaction. The staff seem mystified as the two worlds collide in a donut-ice cream dessert explosion. I’m not sure how long it will take for the concoction to catch on with the corporate types that run the franchise but when it does, you know you heard it here first.

Mary and Ricky for the Spirit Brigade regale us with ten reasons why cheerleaders aren’t tramps, or are tramps. Who knows which? But it was fun anyway. We also discover that Ricky sounds exactly like Ron Popeil of Ronco fame. We just can’t stop asking him to say “set it and forget it” or “beef jerky, turkey jerky, homemade yogurt, banana chips and apple snacks, dried pineapple, and much more” or “But Wait…There’s More!” Ah, the hilarity never ends.

Did you know that people are suffering from empathy deficit disorder? Yes, some people aren’t feeling sorry enough for other people. Can you believe it? Ben Lerman said it best though in regards to these poor people with the disorder when he said, “I don’t feel anything for them!”

He sobered up a bit since yesterday’s show and he’s ready to engage us about some fascinating news and social trends.

Who names their kids after fascist, racist dictators? Heath Campbell went to several cake shops trying to get his three-year-old’s name written on a birthday cake. The only problem is his son’s name is Adolf Hitler Campbell. Heath says he wanted his son to have a unique name.

Before you think these are some weird racist people, the Campbells actually deny being racist, claiming they invited children of mixed races into their home for the birthday party. But would you let your child attend a birthday party for Adolph Hitler?

 Will Obama legalize pot? This week Pres. Elect Obama’s site Change.gov asked the general public what were some of their pressing issues and concerns they wanted the transition team to answer the most. The #1 question chosen by far by sit visitors was: “Will you consider legalizing marijuana so that the government can regulate it, tax it, put age limits on it, and create millions of new jobs and create a billion dollar industry right here in the U.S.?”

Sadly, their answer was no. “President-elect Obama is not in favor of the legalization of marijuana.”

We chat with Ben about his FAME moment when he started posing for “artistic” photos and wound up naked with only his ukelele to cover his manhood.

Madonna’s was awfully courageous to do a collaboration with Justin Timberlake, after all, the last diva to share the stage with him had a wardrobe malfunction that left her titty a poppin’ in front of millions of eyes.

We borrowed some of Madonna’s courage and took on her invitation to create our own cover and video of the song, “Four Minutes.”

Madge is picking the “best ones” to feature in a TV special. We’re SO wanting to be in this. Will it happen? Only if you believe in faeries.

The controversial memorial to the the gay victims of the Holocaust was unveiled in Berlin. The memorial is simple grey rectangular stone and features a video clip of two men kissing.

Some people are comforted that the memorial is ready for the 75th anniversary of the Nazis raid and book burning of the Magnus Hirschfeld’s Institute, which was run, of course by Magnus Hirschfeld, an early gay activist. The Institute advocated sex education, contraception, the treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, women’s emancipation, worldwide civil rights and the social acceptance for gay and transgender people in a time when most people couldn’t even begin to discuss these things.

This raid on the Institute signaled the beginning of the persecution of gays under Nazism and some people say that the famous pictures and archival newsreel film of Nazi book-burnings are usually of Hirschfeld’s library ablaze.

On a local note, Henry Gerber, founder of Chicago’s Society for Human Rights in 1924, the first gay rights organization in the United States, was in contact with the Hirschfeld Institute and was inspired by the German homophile emancipation movement. The local gay and lesbian Gerber-Hart library, is partly named after him.

Now Ben, you really have to be little older and have white hair to be a polar bear but you may just be young enough to be a cub. Ah labels, how can we laid without them? What do you think?
