Here’s a preview of the next Glee episode to air entitled “Never Been Kissed” where all bets are being made that YouTube singer Darren Criss will be Kurt’s new boyfriend Blaine. They’re going to sing a duet together “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” How cute!

You might have seen Darren Criss on YouTube playing Harry Potter in “A Very Potter Musical.” I love how Glee’s putting all these viral teen celebs to work!

One of the common themes in any social/new media that involves LGBT audiences are the heart wrenching stories of young queer people struggling to make it and keep their heads above water when living in places that are hostile to gay youth.

Considering the enormous volume of coming out stories already available on YouTube done by and for young LGBT people, it’s going to be great to see this taken to another level with the resources that Dan Savage can put behind it.

In their introductory video, Dan and his husband Terry Miller talk about coming out, their struggles as young men, how they met and a very touching story by Dan about watching the sun rise in Paris with his son.

What do you think? Is the title of the series “It Gets Better” refering to how life gets better for LBGT people when they grow up or the quality of his videos. (Just kidding)

This weekend marked the spectacular C2E2, the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo, a pop culture gathering of movie fans, comic artists and cultural trend setters.

Among all the hunky guys in superhero costumes, funky geeks and sassy fantasy folks was writer and cartoonist Dan Parent, who for over two decades has worked for Archie Comics helping to bring to life the classic teen comic about Archie Andrews and his friends from the fictional town of Riverdale.

Besides creating parodies based on Twilight and Jersey Shore, Veronica Comics will soon debut a new character Kevin, who will be the first openly gay teen in the town of Riverdale! You heard it here first folks.

The films were over the top, with titles like “Gay as a Whistle”and “Satan’s Ferrari.” They included scenes depicting concentration camp executions and even commercial for a vibrator. These were movies made by kids.

Two decades later, Darren’s documentary Put the Camera on Me examines the movies he and his friends made as children and tries to understand them by interviewing all the kids now grown up as well as their parents.

Listen as Darren Stein talks to us about being the gay teen leader of his suburban cul de sac, the videos he made as a kid and the film he’s best known for, Jawbreaker.

Darren also gives us the skinny about well as his upcoming movie All About Evil which he is producing for San Francisco drag legend and Feast of Fools favorite Peaches Christ.

If you live in the Los Angeles area you can meet Darren and Peaches Christ in person on Friday, January 16 at the New Art Theater for a special screening of Jawbreaker with a special appearance with the dreamy Thomas Dekker, star of the hit TV show Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
