I first became interested in the story years ago when I learned that a kid who had been harassed in high school had successfully sued his school for the horrible abuse he experienced there.

The documentary was created by a couple who posted their same-sex wedding announcement in the Oil City newspaper which ignited a firestorm in the community so they brought their cameras to interview people and find out what’s behind all the hate.

A high school senior comes out as a lesbian during a MLK presentation. As brave as this is, I bet most kids are going when will this be over?
