It Burns!

‘The Eagle’ director Kevin MacDonald claims that the burn that Channing Tatum suffered to his penis on set of the film improved his acting.

You may remember that Channing suffered burns to his penis because someone poured hot water down his wet suit to keep him warm. Channing tells the story like this:

“The only way to keep warm was by pouring a mix of boiling water and river water down your suit,” Tatum, 29, tells the magazine. “We were finally done shooting for the day, and one of the crew guys asks if I want to warm up before I go. I’m like, Nah, I’m good. And then I thought, Why not?

The director feels that his injury made him appear as though he was barely clinging on to life and that made the final fight scene more believable.
