On today’s special eggnog flavored Feast of Fools we’re taking you sleigh ride of crazy as we play for you some of the most insane, scary, offensive and over the top Christmas themed music.

We’ve got singing animals, fascist robots who want to wish you a merry Christmas, music by homeless people, drag queens, people who want to have sex with Santa and songs about why we love to be miserable during the holidays.

Also joining us to celebrate the bizarre Christmas music is our good pal, blogger Rick the Rocketman Aiello. He’s blogged about Christmas music people actually enjoy, so I thought it might be fun to hear him react to our F-list collection of music.

This show is not for children. It’s mostly in poor taste, but the second half gets a little raunchy, so please don’t let kids listen to the second half of the show.

Marc and I decided to get into the thick of it, celebrating the victory, surrounded by over a million supporters in Grant Park in downtown Chicago. History tends to draw a big crowd.

A huge and diverse crowd gathered to celebrate the victory and to hear the President-Elect drive home his message in his optimistic catchphrase “yes we can.”

Has “yes we can” replaced “oh no she didn’t?”

Marc described the event as a real-life fairy tale come true, and Senator John McCain was very gracious in his defeat. It almost felt like the whole event was coordinated. Did Barack Obama and John McCain coordinate their acceptance speeches or politics as usual?

Listen as our friends Rick Aiello and Garett Rock share their thoughts on what soon to be First Lady Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey wore. Boy did they stand out! Let your true colors shine through, even if they are Christmas red and parrot green. I personally can’t wait until the Obamas move into the White House.

So now we’re confused. Did McCain get “auffed” and is Leanne going to be our next president?

We’re all wondering which show got the higher ratings since it feels like our elections have become a reality TV show.

Who will win Project Presidency?

On today’s show two fabulous Chicago queer bloggers join us to judge the candidates- Michael Lehet, from the Chicago Examiner and Rick Aiello from The Launching Pad.

But, the real debate of the day is who would you rather date? Prince William or Harry? One third of gay men polled wanted Harry and 23% said William but a full third also said they wouldn’t touch either of them.

Did the Feast of Fools tribute video to Madonna’s “Four Mintues” send her over the edge and announce her divorce to husband Guy Ritiche? There she goes reinventing herself into a single lady again.

Although the word is still out if Ellen Degeneres (one of the wealthiest gay women in old media) is putting her money where her mouth is and donated any money to fight for marriage equality in California. Her lovely mom Betty DeGeneres has pulled out the coffee can and pitched in $700.

With great respect to one of the great talk show hosts and boldest gay icons of our time, this is way too little. Come on Ellen, Portia and mom! We know you can donate a little more.

What did you do today to help defeat Prop 8? You know it’s time to do something to defeat this proposition – donate money or canvass the streets. Do whatever you can but do something! Even if you’re broke, you can donate a lucky amount of money, how about $7 to the cause?

One nice thing about the calamity is that it took place towards the end of Monday night’s Zodiac Wine Tasting event, so suddendly we had to huddle in a men’s bathroom with over 80 men (and some cute women) and several bottles of fine wine for protection. Ooh, yes indeed!

A great time was had by all. Thanks to Big Jones restaurant for the food and the always charming Alpana Singh for co-hosting the event with us.

Web developer Armin Heinrich releases the I Am Rich iPhone application, at the low low price of 999.99 dollars- it’s purpose? To show off how rich and frivilous you are. It does nothing but display a crude picture of a red ruby on your iPhone’s screen. As someone who has guested on this show says “Give me opulence or give me death!”

Heath Ledger’s case is closed! The feds have ended their probe into Heath Ledger’s death, and as a result, Mary-Kate Olsen won’t have to tell them anything. Investigators wanted to ask her where Ledger got the OxyContin or Vicodin that was found in his system, but now they may never know the truth.

Cinderella on Ice goes gay in Australia as the show features a gay couple ice skating. The couple in question are not the stars of the show but a couple at the fabulous ball. Gabrielle Walsh of the Australian Families Association balks at the portrayal and calls it inappropriate. She says that “We need to protect our children. They don’t need to grow up any quicker.” Hey lady, kids don’t care who is gay.

I said beam me up Scotty, not blast me into bits! Deceased actor James Doohan who portrayed Scotty in the Star Trek series remains earthbound as the third attempt to go to outer space failed when the rocket containing his ashes exploded over the Pacific Ocean. After three tries, we aren’t sure if there is anything of him left to be sent into space but we are rooting for you.

Good news! 125 thousand gorillas were found deep in the African Congo. I don’t know how in this day and age that they didn’t know they were there. Where they hiding or something? After all, that’s a population the size of many American cities.

Britney Spears is set to play a lesbian killer in the Quentin Tarantino-directed remake of the 1965 cult classic “Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” Her character murders with her bare hands and has sex with another girl before the movie ends in a blood bath. Sources say that Tarantino “is convinced Britney will be brilliant… It could turn her career around.” If anyone can do it, Quentin Tarantino can.

He even wants to sell his $6.2 million dollar home in Los Angeles to alleviate his financial burden but he’s having problems putting it on the market because he lives so close to tragic superstar Britney Spears. The street is usually littered with paparazzi waiting for the singer to do something crazy.

A group of Australian scientists this week announced a possible new treatment to prevent the spread of HIV in men. What’s it made from? Female hormones. Yeow!

After analyzing tissue samples from men’s foreskins (a hobby many gay men enjoy doing on their own) the researches found that oestriol, an estrogenic compound already found in women’s skin cream blocks entry of the HIV virus by creating what they call a “living condom” by building up superficial layer of cells.

The fascinating thing is the cream used in the study is already being used by millions of women for the last 30 years as a standard treatment for post-menopausal vaginal atrophy. Not sure what that means, but it sounds like it could use a little cream.
