I live near a couple of art galeries in Paris, and it amazes me how much damage I could do to some fairly well-known works of art (if I could be bothered to get off my arse and go and look at them). You can get close enough to Whistler’s Mother to draw a ‘tache on her.
My first thought was “stupid bitch”.
At least it can be repaired. I wonder how it happened?
