Michael Douglas to Play Liberace in HBO Biopic

With Steven Soderbergh at the helm, this looks to have promise. But as others have pointed out, why cast straight actors when there are so many good gay ones? Is it Michael Douglas and Matt Damon’s potential to draw in more mainstream audience appeal? Also, having it be straight to TV rather than in theatres limits its release to begin with.
