PHOTO: Behind the Scenes Sneak Photo of Star Trek 2 Movie

I can’t wait for the second  JJ Abrams Star Trek movie, and here’s the first teaser, an accidentally leaked photo of some guy visiting the set. You know that’s the last time he’ll ever be invited. Are they doing a crossover here with Kara Thrace, aka Starbuck, from Battlestar Galactica?

Zachary Quinto looks a little bloated here in the photo, he’s got the freshman 15, and by that we mean the 15 pounds you gain when you come out of the closet. Or lose, I’m not quite sure. Maybe he’s playing William Shatner or the Vulcan New World in the movie as well. (Thanks to Brian Sweeney for that joke.)

Star Trek 2 will be the first time an openly gay actor has been on Star Trek, a place where they really have never gone before. Can we expect some Kirk/Spock fiction making its way into the new canon?
