Goodbye gray skies of Cardiff!

Torchword returns July 8, 2011 to TV with a pretty much just the two lead actors John Barrowmans and Eve Myles returning to the series to reprise their roles as Capt. Jack and his side kick Gwen Cooper. Most of the rest of the cast was killed off at the end of the last season when the Torchwood headquarters in Cardiff were destroyed.

The 10 part story arc follows the new Torchwood team, now based in sunny Los Angeles, as they attempt to deal with the chaos the world is thrown into when people stop dying.

I’m so happy to see Jack back in action and I really hope they don’t de-gay him.

I really hope they don’t de-gay him too. I don’t have BBC America, but I might have to talk my partner into getting. I love Torchwood. I recently started a blog, and my first real entry is on Torchwood. Here it is: http://thatwasdeep.wordpress.com/2011/03/21/torchwood-and-nostalgia/

Some sections of internet fandom hoped that the Doctor’s hooking Jack up at the Star Wars Cantina (end of Series 4) signalled the start of a long-term companionship. Who knows?

yeah, capt jack and alonso is cool. but ianto jones was dreamy. what’s up with british guys and those ears? the guy who plays merlin (colin morgan) has these big ass ears (he’s irish, so i don’t think he properly counts as “british”). anyway, alonso’s sweet and capt jack loves sweet guys.
