Do it Yourself Easter Chocolate Creme Eggs

I still have dreams about that cute clucking bunny from the Cadbury Egg commercial from long ago.

Calorie rich and decadent, these fabulous homemade version of those gooey Easter Eggs you ate as a kid. These campy chocolate candies will be a hit at any party or a hidden delight stowed away in your sweetie’s Easter basket.

The egg is a non-caramelized dulce de leche center covered in chocolate. Although the recipe suggests using chocolate melts (yuck) I recommend trying to melt and temper chocolate yourself, it can be tricky but well worth it. Try a dark chocolate covering to offset the creamy goodness that’s inside.
