NASA’s experiment to find water on the moon has turned out to be a “smashing” success! Sorry I couldn’t help myself.
The space agency aimed a rocket to the moon’s south pole, hoping to pick up ice and got more than they bargained for.
One researcher described this as the equivalent of “a dozen two-gallon buckets” of water.
Twenty four gallons from just one rocket? That could almost fill up a lunar jacuzzi. I can see the new spring break destination: the Moon!
