Anti-Gay Alabama Politician Goes on Secret New Zealand Lesbian Insemination Spree
Here’s one of the strangest politician infidelity stories I’ve seen.
Bill Johnson was an anti-gay-marriage, Christian Republican candidate for the Alabama governorship in 2009. Since then, he’s come to Christchurch, New Zealand to help with earthquake relief, and he’s gone kind of baby-crazy. Arranging meet-ups over the internet (and without telling his wife back in the US) he has impregnated three women, has donated sperm to another three in the past month, and has been in communication to arrange sperm donation with at least another three, including several women in lesbian relationships.
Asked whether his wife knew he was donating sperm, Johnson said: “She does now.” Asked whether the sperm recipients knew how many others he was donating sperm to, he said he planned to tell them once their children were born, since he wouldn’t be legally obliged to do it any sooner than that. He also said he was providing financial support to at least two of the mothers.
I’m all for reproductive freedom, but it’s tacky at the very least to not tell your wife, and the people you’re donating to, that you’re trying to set yourself up as a one-man stud farm.
