Hi Gang. I’m a long time listener, first time post-er. (What would Grammer Girl say!?) Have a look at this fellow’s blog post, “An Economic Case Against Homosexuality.” My purpose for sharing is not to have his post taken down. I support free speech. He has a right to believe and write about whatever he wants. I think this is a facinating example of the kind of thinking all LGBTQ people face. WOW.

Thankfully, I think his opinion is in the minority. He’s equating the kind of sex he doesn’t personally endorse with disease, which is messed up in so many ways. I can’t imagine him being much of a joy to be around. What a turn off! Can you see him telling his girlfriend this at dinner?
With his logic, if we stopped all forms of sex, then we wouldn’t have any sexually transmitted diseases at all. If straight people stopped having babies, then we’d solve the problem of infant mortality.
Whats also really insulting is that he somehow considers gay people to be a burden on society, while his butt isn’t? Who decided that he was more of a citizen than I was? I thought the whole point of a democracy is that we are all equals.
Does giving your employees health benefits make good economic sense? How about asking- is it the right thing to do?
