NOM Gets Pranked

This image above was created by Zach Weiner as a comment on how technology is changing the way we live but NOM took it to signify what they see as the slippery slope of gay marriage and parenting so they hot-linked it as seen here in their blog.

Hot-linking isn’t a nice thing to do on the internet as it can really mess with a website’s bandwidth and it can also mess with the original intent of how you were presenting the original content.

Plus, if you get caught, the website hosting the image can change it to whatever they want, just like the artist did by switching the image out with the rainbow flag below and the quote “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal” Thomas Jefferson in the Declaration of Independence.

My advice, don’t hot link to images you don’t have control over.
