”Doctor Who?”

The 6th series of Doctor Who ended this past Saturday tying loose ends up with River Song, but leaving viewers with many unanswered questions.

Why was River young in the space suit in the 1st episode? She wasn’t put into the space suit until she was a grown woman.

Flesh Doctor? What happened to him?

Why do the Silence find the Doctor’s identity the threat of their religious order?

I’m not saying I didn’t enjoy the series. In fact, I think one of the best quotes comes from “The Girl Who Waited.”

This series just felt pretty fragmented compared to the time rift days of the past. The big break ½ way through during the summer did not help either.

What’s your thoughts on the 6th series of Doctor Who?

What’s the best quote you are talking about?

I felt a little lost at times and I’m still not quite sure what happened. And of course I figured out very early on what the first question asked was.

It’s at the part when both Amys Tylers talk about Rory. And the younger Amy says:

“You know when sometimes you meet someone so beautiful and then you actually talk to them and 5 minutes later they’re as dull as a brick.”

“Then there’s other people and you meet them and you think ‘not bad, they’re okay’ and then you get to know them and their face just sort of becomes them like their personality is written all over it. And they just turn into something so beautiful.”

So the story of my life with people I meet.

    Ryan,

I agree with most of what you said. Breaking the season into two was one of the worst ideas ever. Made everything a little hard to keep up with. Relating to the little girl in the space suit, I don’t think that was young river song, if they said it was I missed that. But as you pointed out, THEY NEVER EXPLAINED IT!!!!!! GAH! I was bummed to not find out what the ultimate question was and not find out about how the silence relate to the Doctor, but they definitely set it up to be explained in the next season, so we’ll find out sooner or later. The thing that bugged me the most the was a tiny editing/writing error in the first and last episode. Once again, it was great to see the Doctor make a genius escape, but lets remember (SPOILERS!) that the doctor didn’t get shot or killed, the robot did. So how come the robot tried to do a time-lord regeneration thing? After the doctor robot gets shot it appears as if he’s trying to regenerate but river keeps shooting him, denying regeneration. Thats just a tiny flaw that stood out to me. So to answer all of these questions, we should write the next season of Doctor who.
