Oct 6, 2010 · 15790 views

Larry King recently featured a “Power Team” of LGBT celebrities and allies of the LGBT community to discuss bullying of LGBT children and the effects of the government, media and organized religion on LGBT youth.  The panel featured Larry King with Wanda Sykes, Kathy Griffin, Tim Gunn, Lance Bass, Chely Wright & Nate Berkus.   The Celebrities talk about the organizations “The Trevor Project”, “GLSEN” “It Gets Better” & “Give A Damn” all of which help GLBT youth.  This may be one of the most concentrated efforts by a national news outlet to get the message out to people that bullying is WRONG, and it must stop.

  2. Cole says:

Thank you so much for posting this. I watched the whole thing and, I’ll admit, it made me weep. I remember when I was in the 8th grade and tried to commit suicide. I was in a very dark place at the time. Seeing that mother barely able to hold herself together made me think about what kind of state I would have left my parents in if I had been successful in that attempt. Thanks again to RkctMan and to the Curch or FoF for being the fabulous people you are.

    • Cole says:

I meant “the Church of FoF” at the end there..sorry… got a little bleary-eyed and weepy (again!) by the time I was finishing typing that

  3. Edgyguy says:

You did a great job, holding up, Tammy, I’m so proud of you!!!
