Oscar the Grouch Trashes Fox News

In this skit from Sesame Street, Oscar the Grouch is trying to be a reporter for the GNN, or “Grouch News Network.” He doesn’t succeed and winds up getting lots of kisses from a prince and princess. Yes, same sex kisses.

Because his segment turns out to be too sweet, his female friend says “From now I’m watching Pox News, now there’s a trashy news show.”

Conservatives are up in arms, asking for a boycott of the landmark children’s television show. Is Oscar’s Fox News dig this years Jerry Fallwell/Teletubby scandal?
