      Only 100 of his species are still living. So he doesn’t have many choices. Sometimes you have take the next best guy around.

      Kakapos are such awesome birds! its sad to see they are on their way to extinction…

      Ha! I was going through my YouTube Favorites from last year and I was wondering if y’all had caught this one. :) Yes, New Zealand is very proud of its native critters, especially the parrots. I had a parrot of a different species swoop down on me and try to steal chapstick right out of my hand during a nature walk. There’s another species living in the mountains that will gnaw all the rubber bits off your car unless you leave some stale bread out to distract them. Incredibly naughty, but charming all the same. Just like Feast of Fun! ;)
