I’m actually going to play devil’s advocate right quick. The promo’s I’ve seen so far don’t seem that funny. Yes, it plays to the classic formula of a sitcom, but it’s almost in a way that it already feels dated before it’s even premiered. To be fair, I feel the same about ALL of CBS’s “live studio audience” sitcoms. It’s also premiering on TV Land though, so maybe that’s what they were going for.
You can’t go wrong with four of TV’s funniest ladies all put together in one show. It will work damnit! Besides, they need their kooky neighbor Kathy Griffin to stop by to borrow a cup of sugar.
