Everything old is new again. Is Lady Gaga just a modern day Carmen Miranda? Check out how “Poker Face” matches up almost seamlessly with this vintage footage of the iconic Brazilian samba bombshell from the 1940s.

Just like Lady Gaga says she’d like to go, Carmen Miranda died doing what she loved, performing her music for millions of fans. In 1955 on the Jimmy Durante TV show she suffered a heart attack and fell to her knees, laughing it off and finishing her number. Later that night she suffered a second heart attack in her home in Beverly Hills and died at the age of 46.
