Episode 1 – Religion, DADT and the Uniform

February 17, 2011 – In this episode, we are joined by Chaplain Colonel Paul Dodd (USA, Ret.), gay activist and Chief Master Sergeant Dave Gainer (USAF, Ret.), Staff Sergeant Chris Benitez (USAF, Vet.) along with Bob Jones Academy graduate and former Marine Capt. Rich Merritt, author of “Secrets of a Gay Marine Porn Star,” to discuss the effect Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell has had on gay, lesbian and bisexual servicemembers of faith. We examine both the effects the policy has had in the past and the possible effects of repeal on the future of faith in uniform.
