VIDEO: Foodsluts at Doll & Penny’s Cafe Trailer

This is a trailer for my online serial “Foodsluts at Doll & Penny’s Cafe”. The serial runs every other Thursday on xtra.ca-Vancouver until August 2011. You have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page to read it from the beginning—don’t ask me why.

Doll & Penny’s Café was a gay cabaret in Vancouver, BC from 1984-1999. If you visited Vancouver during Expo 86 you probably have a picture of the awning. And if you’re planning on coming here for the Outgames, the serial is a good way to brush up on our local history. This video features footage from the 1986 Doll & Penny’s 2nd Anniversary/Customer Appreciation show.
