VIDEO: Weird Al’s Gaga Parody ”I Perform This Way.”

Lady Gaga quashed Weird Al’s “I Perform This Way” parody of “Born This Way.”  Weird Al usually gets permission from an artist before parodying them (WHY?), but Gaga said, “No.”  Probably because it mentions setting herself on fire on stage, and some of her “monsters” really are MONSTERS (like the lady who skinned the cat for an outfit) who would take the song WAY too seriously.  So, I kinda agree with her on that one.  You gotta know your audience, Al.

But he posted it to youtube anyway.

UPDATE: Gaga has now approved the parody. It appears Lady Gaga never even knew it existed.
