VIDEO: Target’s It Gets Better Video Makes the Employees Look Like they Are Being Held Hostage

'It gets better. Can I go home now?'

This whole “It Gets Better” campaign is really starting to get on my nerves. Target, one of the most aggressive corporations donating thousands of dollars every year to anti-gay politicians and groups ironically is actually pretty decent to their gay employees. So to counteract the negative public image they’ve gotten over the past year they’ve created an “It Gets Better” video. Assholes.

In case you didn’t know, Target actually donates money to conservative politicians who work against schools to have the ability to create Gay/Straight alliances. Talk about hypocrisy!

Thankfully the video is excruciatingly boring, so nobody is going to watch it. Is it me, or do the employees in this video look like they are being held hostage? Like someone is pointing a gun at them forcing them to say “It gets better.”

Here’s my response to Target: if you want to stop bullying, start with yourself.

Stop acting like a bully and stop supporting anti-gay politicians and groups with your company’s money. Then and only then does it truly get better.

Here’s some screenshots of the employees looking like they are being held hostage by terrorists:

    AMEN, I SAY! Tell it!

Okay that picture of the blonde lady just made me bust out laughing at work.

  3. Andy says:

They should better donate money to Feast of Fun!

  4. Andy says:

As someone wrote on Youtube, “pinkwash” that is. Just like companies like to greenwash their products these days in order to appear more environment friendly although they produce products which heavily pollute the environment.

When someone is remembering details, their eyes move to the right (your right). When someone is making something up, their eyes move to the left. It’s usually reversed for lefties. Watch the first two “actors” it couldn’t be anymore obvious.

  6. jarrod says:

don’t be a bully. this is definitely progress. kudos to the brave employees
