Are you there God? It’s me, Paris Hilton. On the morning cat-fight talk show known as the View, Barbara Walters flexed her political muscles as she informed her audience that Paris Hilton called her collect […]

  1. OMG HOW DARE YOU SHIT ON V FOR VENDETTA? I am so pissed! I love that movie it is so very dramatic, beautifully written! Gawd what is wrong with you people.

  2. Barbara says:

$ 3.00 for an El ride? Do you get a bus transfer with that?

  3. Cliff Dix says:

I had a friend who for years thought I had made up the word Putang.

  4. Maia says:

Neil Patrick Harris in an FOF shirt!!! I love it. That is stealth fandom at its greatest.

As I was biking past Buckingham Fountain this morning, I remembered this thing I heard on the radio Sunday night: “Gay is the Revolution” — gay and lesbian pioneers talking about queer activism in Chicago in the 60s/70s. And this amazing woman said that for Chicago’s FIRST pride parade, she and her friends went downtown and dyed Buckingham Fountain lavender! Isn’t that the most outrageous thing ever??? So I was biking past the fountain and thinking how great it would look in a shade of purple, and then got to work and heard about the wikipedia doctoring. Beautiful!

That radio show was inspiring… I will try to see if it’s online somewhere and post a link.

    Okay, that was easy–

Since it is Pride month, it’s only fitting to sit around the campfire and listen to our elders talk about those tough, early times.
It’s inspiring to hear about their courage, and also maddening to think about how complacent we’ve become.

My favorite speaker was Vernita Gray: “Yes, I am a lesbian! Wanna invite me to a potluck? Bring it ON!”

  6. PupDon says:

I have never partaken of Kitty Rocca, Marc. Just to set the record straight. I cannot, however, vouch for Mr. Fierstein. Thank you.

  7. Bologna says:

Fausto and Marc love your show; you remind me of me and my partner. I think I’m more like Marc and my partner is more like Fausto. So, as the Marc clone, I just wanna say, Fausto, LET MARC SPEAK. The poor guy needs to let the diva in him get out. And to you, Marc, just hang in there. We’re addicted to their energy, and we know they don’t mean to make us mad. OK, about today’s show, maybe it was Fausto’s cold, or maybe you guys were bitching too much about who’s turn it was to speak, or maybe John Q. Sanchez was not being lively enough (What ever happened to Cesar Torres????) , or maybe it’s just tough coming after two shows with Ms. Ronnie in them, but today’s show was not one of your best. Not saying it wasn’t good; just that things got a little low at times. Anyway, I’ll always love your show and hope that some of my favorite characters come back (like V-Marr or even Talia, even though she was probably on the show only twice. How’s she doing ?). OK, Love to you all from la bella Italia.

  8. yay… Riverside, CA is on the FOF map.. 😀

  9. hey, thanks for using the story i sent you guys, just a couple of corrections,

–> i live in CT, not Mass
–> i didn’t get a call from mcgreevy, i got an e-mail to him, and he also wrote to the editor in the NY times.

i will let you know when i am in Chicago this summer.

    BIG HUGS

  10. PuppyD, I know you haven’t eaten Kitty Rocca- I even said in the show “unlike Pupdon.” I was planning on just doing a gargling gravel joke for Harvey and then it hit me.

  11. Steven says:

I thought this show was great. And you’re not allowed to complain about the show if you don’t even have a photo in your profile… *cough* bologna *cough*

  12. Tina G says:

( ohh fab I am not crashing )
Pissing myself laughing especially Fausto getting a bit testy in the end and everyone vainly trying to end on a HIGH note. Gynormous FUN !. By the way do you guys rehearse before the podcast ? Its so smooth.

  13. We always welcome constructive feedback. Everyone has their certain favorites, that’s for sure. What I don’t like though is when people compare guests. Posting things like “I like Amanda, Ronnie, Sal-E , or John better than so and so guest” is not very constructive and really only serves to hurt the person in question.

Criticize and comment all you want, but please don’t compare – People do not like to be compared to other people.
